On July 4, 2026, two separate hiker injuries occurred in Lincoln, NH. A 16-year-old male slipped on a rock on Georgiana Falls Trail and suffered a lower-leg injury, and was carried out by rescuers by 1:53 p.m. At approximately 2:45 p.m., Denise Gould, 55, caught her foot under a root on Basin Cascades Trail, fell backwards, and sustained a lower-body injury; she was carried out by approximately 5:50 p.m.
