On August 26, 2025, Kristina Reams, 33, experienced a medical emergency approximately 1.4 miles in on the Boulder Loop Trail in Albany, NH, rendering her unable to continue under her own power. Rescuers from multiple agencies made contact at approximately 4:15 p.m. and carried her out to an ambulance by 5:48 p.m. She was transported to Memorial Hospital in Conway for further evaluation.
