43-year-old male climber from Greece · party of 2

Simon Montgomery, 43, fell 20–25 feet while climbing Double V on the Barber Wall at Cathedral Ledge and struck a ledge below the top of the cliff. His climbing partner called 911, and a multi-agency rescue team raised him via haul system to the top of the cliff. He was transported by ambulance and then airlifted to Maine Medical Hospital in Portland for treatment.
