Winter in the Whites is when the summit forecast changes the plan. The Winter Pass unlocks everything in Trailblazer until April 30, 2027, for one $24 payment. No subscription, nothing renews.

What it unlocks

  • The 7-day summit forecast

    Wind, wind chill and freezing level by elevation for every peak, a week out instead of three days.

  • AI conditions reports

    One plain read of the forecast, trip reports and trail notes for each peak, updated through the day.

  • Trip-report alerts

    Plan a hike and get an email when hikers post new reports from those peaks: ice, snow depth, broken trail.

  • The route planner and your own pace

    Plan winter routes, see times at your pace, download GPX and print sheets.

Does it renew?

No. It's one $24 payment. Nothing renews and you won't be charged again.

What happens on April 30, 2027?

Your account goes back to free. Your peaks, hikes, lists and photos stay right where they are.

Is winter peak list tracking part of the pass?

No, tracking stays free for everyone, the winter lists included. The pass adds the forecasts, conditions reports and alerts.

I already pay for Trailblazer. Do I need this?

No. Your membership already includes everything in the pass.
