70-year-old male physician from Berlin, Vermont

Dr. William Segel, age 70, slipped and fell approximately twenty feet on the Boulder Loop Trail in Albany, NH on June 1, 2013, sustaining leg injuries. A 911 call was made at 6:05 p.m. and rescuers reached him at approximately 7:30 p.m., carrying him a half mile to the trailhead before he was transported to the hospital.
