    Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

    Water crossings: There still is little water flowing down the streams. The crossings low down, at the Gem Pool and higher up were not a problem. At that last one, as usually is the case, there is that very shallow flow that is a multi-step but perhaps just a half inch deep flow that is no problem for waterproof footwear but otherwise a tip-toe sneaker soaker. The two crossings low down on Jewell are via narrow foot bridges.
